Our Commitment to Accessible Care
At Central Ontario Psychology, we firmly believe in increased, equitable access to psychological care. We work towards making this happen by working closely with the Ontario Psychological Association, and supporting its efforts. Unfortunately, psychological services in private practices are not currently covered by OHIP, and it's still difficult to access psychological care in publicly funded settings.
Standard Fees
Fees for psychologists can range up to $300/hr, depending on the nature of the service and its complexity.
Insurance Coverage
Our services are often covered by Extended Health Benefits plans, though the annual limits can vary considerably. Please consult your plan for details on your specific coverage.
Supervised Services
Services provided by an associate under our supervision may be available at a reduced cost. Note that some insurance plans do not accept this arrangement. View our insurance guide.
Student Training Services
We often have students under our training; depending on their level of experience, their services may be available at a substantial discount. Their work is carefully supervised.
Payment Process
You will be asked to provide a credit card number which we can keep on file. This will be charged only after services have been rendered, if you are responsible for paying for those services.
